Continuing the exploration.
Took my favorite of the massing studies and did a VERY rough pencil drawing.
Emailed myself the simple iPad photo, stretched it to 2.35*1.00 and did a rough value and colour study.

Granny Maggotnose
Granny Maggotnose had seen her share of
winters, but this one was colder than her prized snot pie. Her saggy
breast flat against her bulbous body, she gathered her blanket of
cave-spider hair and contemplated a day when she was young and
beautiful. Once all the goblins had fallen all over themselves for her
attentions.

I got a feedback comment that the "agricultural" nature of the robot wasn't coming through, and I thought maybe putting it in a field of wheat would give it some context...and make the background more interesting.
