life drawing update

I've been drawing every day this week, but I haven't had time to scan and post stuff...here's a couple of things from life drawing today @ 221A.

Grind sketches

Did quite a bit today at the Grind, mostly gestures, but a couple of more finished looking things too (although nothing to a "finished" state!)

I skipped Life Drawing today, but I did go over to Grind and I drew for a bit.

Saturday Drawings

Sketches from the Sketch Crawl and Sketchgroup - I was a tad high on cold medicine, so I decided to go with gestures instead of finished drawings.

Friday night sketching

Did a lot of "from memory" gesture drawings tonight, mostly in pen but a couple in pencil.

Here are a few of the ones I didn't mind too much...didn't feel as good about tonight as I did about yesterday, but that may be in my head, I can never tell.

Drawing class project prototype

My drawing class' first assignment is to create a portrait using parts based on at least 15 different artists...so before I draw it out, I loaded the parts into photoshop and created a rough design.

Really enjoyed the model tonight, she was tall and "hardcore" - felt like I was drawing Heavy Metal covers for 3 hours :)
