At a friend's suggestion, I'm trying to copy some other people's work (at least a bit) to see how they handle things like line weight and shadows. This was done from a piece by Marc Silvestri of the Witchblade character. I didn't try to copy exactly, but I think the reference is pretty obvious.
Oh, and when I say copy, I still mean "do all the construction steps as if you're doing it yourself, not just a straight "contour" copy."
