Artist Series - Day 66: Aurélien Predal

Another artist I know next to nothing about, but man, the work speaks for itself!  He works as a visual development artist, and his colour keys on "A Monster In Paris" are fantastic.

Artist Series - Day 65: Grelin Nara

I got reminded of Grelin yesterday, and I've been trying to find some good images online to share with you guys.  I discovered this guy, like most of the European comic artists I know, via the Comix Buro line of books.  I think he's currently working at Ankama in France, and I can't find too much about him in English :(  Most of his work online I can find are pinups, but he does a lot more than that, and the stuff in the book is really appealing :)

Artist Series - Day 64: Alexandre "Zedig" Deboine

Continuing "Crazy Colours" with this guy.  I honestly don't know much about him, he started showing up as reposts from friends on Facebook about 2 months ago, and now I see his work everywhere I go!

Artist Series - Day 63: Theo Prins

I've been wanting to feature this guy for a while, and now that he has TWO images up for the Spectrum Gold award in concept art, I think the time is right.  I believe Theo is currently working at ArenaNet, and he's been doing concept art since 2007.  To me, he's got such an amazing understanding of colour, reminds me a lot of Monet and the other impressionists.

Man, I love his drawings too!

Artist Series - Day 62: Chris Appelhans

Visual Development, original stories, traditional art...this guy does it all.  I first started following his work with Coraline, but it's all so amazing....

Artist Series - Day 61: Cory Loftis

Another "cartoony" guy, Cory Loftis is currently a visual development artist at Disney.  I find his work has incredible life and energy.  Prior to Disney, he was lead concept artist on the MMO "Wildstar", and his style definitely fits with that property as well!

Artist Series - Day 60: Mike Franchina

Felt like taking things a little more "cartoony" today with the concept artist for Torchlight, Mike Franchina.  Can't say I know much about him, but I love this work!
