Artist Series - Day 33: David Trampier

Today is for my old-school gaming friends....You know who you are, you have a box of Dragon magazines from the 80s in your attic somewhere....and you read "Wormy."

This guy wrote and drew the comic strip "Wormy" for years, and then suddenly went off the grid.  Cheques were returned unopened.  No one could find him.  After 1988, he effectively disappeared.

Which is a DAMN SHAME, because Wormy was one of my biggest inspirations when I read that magazine and dreamed of world building.

If you want to read them, you can find the series here.  Issue #96 remains one of the most influential set of images for me of all time.
