Today's artist is the grandfather of American Illustration. He founded the Brandywine School, and trained some of the best illustrators of the 20th century....he also loved pirates. Most interesting to me are his sketches, and how unfinished they are. Not every drawing needs to be a masterpiece for you to use them to make amazing finished work!
