Today's artist works in comic books - most well known being “The Crogan Adventures” series. I met him at HeroesCon in 2011 or 2012 (time!). I found his sketchbook to be incredibly helpful to me…It's not really just an artist sketchbook, because he talks a lot about his thoughts, his process and his technique. On top of the narrative storytelling, I consider him to be an amazing character designer - in fact, that may be what draws me to his work the most.
